Rafael Galante, the inventor of Boww Homes™, has been a licensed construction consultant, commercial and residential real estate developer, and contractor for almost 30 years. Rafael’s philosophy, since starting out as a young entrepreneur at the age of 19, is to courageously pursue life and business with passion, purpose, and integrity. As a successful entrepreneur and business leader, Rafael’s vision in action is to always challenge himself and his teams to find creative long-term solutions to problems, both great and small. Rafael believes that clean technology makes the world a better place for all of us. The Founder and Chief Ambassador of L.A. Source Company LLC, and its subsidiaries, Leaders Solar, L.A. Source Consulting, and Boww Homes, Rafael believes in employing our dedicated U.S. Veterans in the sustainability industry as his personal goal and mission. Family, environment, community, and business are Rafael’s driving purposes in life, but his greatest success and source of inspiration comes from being a father and mentor to his five wonderful children, Raffaele IV, Anna, Luka, Pablo, and Georgio.

Shivam Lekhi leads our company to imagine, design, engineer, build, and deliver sustainable products and services that change the world.  He brings over eight years of experience managing several product development teams in the technology industry, has founded his own companies, and has worked at world-leading corporations such as Google.  Shivam executes in all phases necessary for product innovation, including research, benchmarking, and conceptualization, as well as market testing, commercialization, and product launch.  In addition, he engages his expertise in delivering training and providing leadership in business development — skills honed while part of the Google Developers Group in India. Within the technology space, Shivam specializes in web and graphic design, and in software development, with SEO, APIs, cloud platforms, Android to IOS app development, programming, just to name a few. Shivam has unwavering dedication and expertise in technology design, development, and application, thriving with an action-oriented entrepreneurial mindset that drives business results.  He is most passionate about learning new skills, and strives to become the best in all areas of his life, both at work and in supporting his family.

Dr. Andrea Schlaerth brings extensive experience to our leadership team in talent and organizational development, project management, training, and management consulting. Her front-line direction and thought leadership covers a wide range of strategic, entrepreneurial, operational, and people-development initiatives. Holding a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and as a certified Project Management Professional, Andrea’s work spans the spectrum of diverse industries, customer groups, and work settings, including healthcare, higher education, entertainment, government, and social service organizations, having contributed to companies such as Walt Disney, Goodwill Industries, City of Pasadena, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. As an Adjunct Professor, she has taught at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, reaching students on three continents, and her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences. Andrea’s passion is creating a meaningful, value-driven workplace that builds on positive relationships and integrates the human-side of business effectively. She leads an energized, motivated, and high-performing workforce to successfully collaborate, create, and compete in the clean technology and sustainability industry, to make the world a better place today, and for future generations to come. Originally from Hungary, Andrea lives in the beach communities of Los Angeles with her husband and three sons.

Tom Meneshian has 30 years of experience in the financial services, hospitality, and automotive industries. Tom brings a unique business perspective to the team, both as a successful leader for corporate sales teams at Honda and Bank of America, and as an entrepreneur, supporting our customer-focused and client-centered mission. Tom utilizes process improvement and analytical techniques, such as Six Sigma, to achieve service and performance excellence for the clients he serves. Tom’s passion lies in the customer-interface, sales, public and community-relations functions. Tom connects government with new and emerging environmental technology companies, in an effort to bring affordable renewable energy and higher paying jobs to our communities. He loves working with people - keeping customers happy, and establishing and maintaining our corporate reputation - to add value and contribute positively to society. Tom has volunteered many hours to provide solar installation and life skills training to U.S. Veterans and to underserved individuals from urban communities. He is the proud father of an adorable daughter, Sophia.

Kody McCambridge

Project Manager

Kody McCambridge provides solid leadership, guidance, and training to our construction crews, honed from his five years service in the U.S. Marine Corps.  Kody attended Naval Air Station Pensacola to become an Aviation Support Equipment Technician, prior to stationing at MCAS Miramar in San Diego, CA.  From there he deployed twice - to the Middle East and the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. Kody also became an EMT-B certified emergency medical technician. As Supervisor, he was responsible for the personal and professional development of 50 marines, as well as the maintenance of aircraft support equipment.  Kody now directs project work, and manages our crew members to prepare and install solar panel racking systems on large-scale commercial projects, as well as the manufacturing process of our corporate products.  He supports infrastructure development to ensure workflow and procedures are aligned with our core business strategy.  Kody is a key decision-maker onsite to oversee our work deliverables are completed to the highest standards.  Kody was instrumental as the Site Project Manager, overseeing over 55 U.S. Veteran employees for the installation on our Port of Los Angeles Distribution Center solar project in San Pedro, CA, which is currently the world’s largest rooftop solar installation at 16.4 MW power.  Kody fulfills our corporate mission of workforce development by providing expertise in recruiting and supervising U.S. Veterans to assure job success, and to differentiate our company in the sustainable, clean technology industry.  Kody has a beautiful family that includes his wife Michaelann, his daughter Keira, and his son Oakley.

Tiffany Mixon brings seven years of renewable energy industry experience to our team. Having formerly worked at Verengo Solar, while the company ranked #1 on the Solar Power World list of Top Residential Solar Contractors in the U.S., has given her a wealth of insight on manufacturing projects from start to finish and managing teams in the residential solar market. Tiffany currently designs and implements policies and procedures for both sales and operations functions, to ensure that our clients and partners receive excellent service.  She develops and maintains partner relationships with existing and new customers, and helps train our sales force to deliver bottom-line results. She has cultivated relationships with utilities, authorities having jurisdictions, finance partners, engineers and contractors - to efficiently deliver the best possible products.  Tiffany originally honed her sales, management, and customer service skills at Enterprise Rent-A-Car through their management trainee program, then joined two operational teams in their largest branch in the country, at LAX. Tiffany was born and raised in Southern California, only leaving home to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Spelman College, the renowned historically black college for women, and a top-ranked innovative liberal arts college in Atlanta, Georgia.  Tiffany is the loving mother to her wonderful daughter, Kennedy.

Charles Gonzalez graduated at the top of his class, and received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal during his two deployments in the Persian Gulf, serving four years as Operations Specialist 2nd Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy.  After his dedicated service to our country, Charles worked as a Train Conductor for BNSF Railway, one of the largest freight railroad networks in North America, and then as Marketing Manager at a restoration company before joining our team.  Charles led over 50 U.S. Veterans and Union personnel on the world's largest solar rooftop installation project at the Port of L.A. Distribution Center in San Pedro, and served as Foreman on a Laborers’ Local 300 Union solar installation contract in downtown Los Angeles.  As a key bridge between field operations and corporate sales, Charles optimizes our product development, manufacturing, and sales continuum operations strategy, while modeling the highest standards of our corporate reputation in the renewable energy and clean technology sector.  Giving back to his community as part of a team of 40 volunteers, Charles has raised over $100K for Niños Latinos Unidos, Inc., a foster family and adoption agency in Bellflower, CA, that has remodeled the facility for children as they transition to new families.

Melissa Jackson with her over 20 years experience in accounting and finance, managing an approximate $5M portfolio of clients, is the anchor of our team. Starting out her career in purchasing, Melissa quickly gained expertise in every area of accounting while supporting all facets of the financial systems management needs of various types, sizes, and models of business.  Melissa not only brings reliable professionalism, but also grounds our company in bedrock principles of integrity, accountability, and accuracy in decision-making. Her experience and brilliant flexibility in understanding the nuances, challenges, and rewards working with entrepreneurs in a teamwork environment, is honed from her own successful accounting-consulting firm that has been going strong since 2003.  She has been an amazing asset to our leadership team. Melissa helps us create a comprehensive infrastructure for recording and maintaining our corporate financial transactions for each of our business divisions.  Being detail-oriented, efficient, and highly organized, she provides comprehensive financial know-how at every step of our business development and operations process.  Melissa delivers cost efficiency on each project by managing cash flow, taking financial management ownership, and accepting responsibility in supporting our corporate business goals.  Melissa received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton.  She embodies the ideal team member with a positive outlook on life - to get through every hurdle and climb every mountain to reach our goals.  She and her supportive husband are the proud parents of three young men and the grandparents of four.
